A lot of blogger are writing about making money online with there blogs, but the truth is, only a few blogger are making some serious money and the big part are just making a few bucks. One of the problems is the way how to make money in the Internet is changing nearly monthly. Some ways that have worked a few years ago don´t even exist any more. Others are still there but the don´t pay of anymore, and others are just working for people with a big amount of readers.

Back in the days when I´ve staring writing a blog, it was pretty easy to make $100- $400 per month just by running a blog and write some paid posts. You still can write some posts for cash but the amount of cash you get per post depends on your page rank and when Google finds out you are writing paid post your page rank is dropping faster than the Titanic. So you are working 3-6 month to get a good Page Rank and after writing 2-4 paid posts you Page Rank is going to drop and you will not earn a lot for your paid posts any more. And who wants to write a post just for $1-$2 ???

But what are the ways to make some cash with your blog ?

The first thing is you have to deliver some content people really want to read about and get some real readers. And with readers I mean some people coming back to your blog again and again to see what is new. I know I haven´t updated this blog for a long time now, but I am still in blogging and still make some cash with it. I don´t make the big bucks like the big time Players in this blogging business, but there are some bucks still coming to my pay pal account, even when I didn´t write a blog post for a month. My latest blog is a blog about losing weight. I have lost about 60 ponds in 3,5 month, so if you want to know how check out Pfund-um-Pfund.com by the way this blog is in German, but I am working on a e-book in English too.

But now I want you to tell about 3 ways of making money that are still working for me:

1. Text-Link-Ads

I love working with Text-Link-Ads because it´s really easy for every publisher. You just sign up, you get approved, you put their widget on your sit and they are going to make everything else. They are selling your ad space to companies and you are getting 50% of the sell. Ok 50% sound not to much, but hey, you don’t have to sell anything ! You just take care of your blog and money is coming to your pay pal account month per month. TLA is having a great Affiliate program too. You better check that one out. and get paid !!!

2. Sponsored Tweets

Twitter is becoming more and more popular and a lot of people are using it more and more often a day. My Twitter Account now has 17.360 Followers and the number is growing every day. In Germany I once was in the Top 10 of Twitter but now I am just in the Top 20 or so. The great thing about Sponsored Tweets is, most of the time you don´t even have to write the Tweets by your self. Just sign it at Sponsored Tweets, set your price, and wait till you get some offers. They also have a Affiliate program and you are making money from Tweets on other Twitter accounts. I love to get the e-mails, that tells me I just have made some money with Sponsored Tweets just because someone who signed in with my link has made a paid Tweet. Check it out your self.

3. AdSense

I know, there is really nothing new about AdSense, but it is still one of my money makers every month. What I like about AdSense is you don´t have to do anything about it. Just put the AdSense Code on your Site and Google is making everything else for you. They check your content and put the right ad into the space you gave them. Most of the time the content of your blog and the content of the AdSense ad is really fitting great. All you have to do is check out how often people are click the different kinds of ads and put the best ads on your sites.
